Who can make an appointment with the psychologist?

Anyone who would like some assistance with any life issue can make an appointment to see a psychologist. If you wanted to have Medicare rebate some of your session cost and if you were eligible, you would need to see your GP. He or she would assess your eligibility for a rebate and then provide you with a Mental Health Care Plan to take to your psychologist. This plan enables you to see your psychologist for a maximum of ten sessions per calendar year. If you prefer not to see your GP about a Mental Health Care Plan, you will need to either pay the full amount or you can check with your private health fund to see if they will refund some of your session cost. All our psychologists are registered with the private health funds.

How do I pay for my sessions?

Payments can be made at the time of your session by credit card, EFTPOS or cash. You will only be required to pay a gap fee for each consultation as the remainder of the consultation fee will be claimed through Medicare by your clinician. Please discuss the gap fee with your clinician.
